Can you provide a courtesy car?

Yes, we have a selection of manual and automatic ‘Smart For Four’ loan cars at your disposal.

Do you offer a pick up and drop off service?

Yes, we offer a free collection & delivery service to/from your home or work locally (subject to terms & conditions).

Can I wait onsite while my car is with you?

Yes, we have a comfortable reception waiting area with complimentary wi-fi, tea and coffee.

How long will my service and MOT take?

It’s best to allow 2 to 3 hours. An MOT will take up to 1 hour to complete and a full service up to 90 minutes.

How early can I MOT my car before it expires?

You can get your MOT up to one month (minus a day) before it expires to keep the same renewal date for next year; for example, if it expires May 15th, you can test from April 16th onwards and it will still be due May 15th next year.

Will you update my digital service book?

Yes, we have access to most manufacturer's online systems so after we have serviced your car, we will update your digital service book (subject to access).

Will I retain my manufacturer’s warranty?

Yes, by using genuine parts, approved oils and working to manufacturer’s service schedules you will retain the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Is the work fully guaranteed?

Yes, by using genuine parts, approved oils and working to manufacturer’s service schedules, you will receive a two year parts and labour guarantee (subject to manufacturer's warranty).

Do you use genuine parts?

Yes, at Star Tech we fit genuine parts as standard. However, we are happy to discuss fitting non genuine parts if you prefer.

Do you offer credit facilities?

Yes, we have a payment plan that allows you to split your bill into three or four interest free monthly payments if needed, subject to a credit check.
