This matters more than you might think. Many local garages, and even some main dealers, are not qualified to work on electric or hybrid vehicles. High-voltage systems require specialist training and certification, and putting your car in the wrong hands is a genuine safety risk.
Every technician at Star Tech EV is IMI TechSafe certified, the nationally recognised qualification set by the Institute of the Motor Industry for anyone working on electric and hybrid vehicles. You can independently verify our technicians on the IMI Professional Register.
We're also a member of the Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Repair Alliance (HEVRA) — a body that independently checks its members for the right qualifications, tools and equipment before they can join. Membership isn't automatic; it has to be earned
