Spreading the cost of repairs

A recent survey from The Motor Ombudsman (TMO) shows nearly seven in ten UK garages are set to see car owners skipping essential repairs this year in a bid to save money. With all of us facing rising bills it’s understandable that we’re tightening our belts to save money, which sometimes includes delaying getting our car fixed or serviced. However, putting these off could lead to bigger bills in the future.
For example, TMO highlights that ignoring squealing or grinding noises from the brakes, and not changing the pads (typically £266 for a set of two per wheel), may escalate into needing more of the braking system replaced, such as discs and calipers – carrying a combined £700 bill a wheel.
At Star Tech EV we recognise that our customers may want to spread their payments to help pay for servicing and repairs. We have a payment plan that allows you to split your bill into three or four interest free monthly payments if needed, subject to a credit check.
If you would like to learn more about our payment plan, just ask one of our Service Advisers on your next visit, or contact us on 01202 148303 or service@star-tech-ev.co.uk.
